The Chattahoochee Council of Teachers of Mathematics strives to be the public voice of mathematics education in West Central Georgia where members work individually and collectively for improving and ensuring the highest quality learning for all students. CCTM strives to offer professional development opportunities for teachers to ensure a mathematics education of the highest quality for all students, encourages local involvement in GCTM and NCTM, serves as a network of support for teachers at all grade levels, including post-secondary, a support group for educators, allowing for social gathering that promotes friendships across school districts, offers a forum for discussion and resolution of regional and local issues, and is an effective political voice at the state and local level.
